I'm sitting outside this Home Depot Thinkin' I'm gonna get picked up And I don't speak a lick of Spanish I can forget this Ain't had no steady job in 2 years
And that was a part-time job You know every now and then One of my buddies might get his hands on a little something And he'll cut me in on it and I'd do a little slinging You know, and I don't like that either cause See I've been to jail before and I don't like that That ain't, that ain't worth nothing, you know And, and you know I, I'm still a little pretty And, and they, they want, you know, make me their girlfriend And all that kind of stuff I don't like that I don't like being incarcerated, no way And I'm tired of having to count my money In ounces and grams and [?] I don't know what's wrong with this country Because they say that we're broke But every time I go to Walmart or Target It's jammed with people And I'm just like, "It's Black Friday in there every day Somebody got some money Somebody getting some money I don't know where it's coming from But somebody got money" That's why I'm money hunting (I'm money hunting) You know I hate to go out there and stick somebody up You know and they worked hard for their money Or they've been out hunting and hustling I would jump out the alley and take what they have So I can have, that don't work out Then that's just gonna make them have to do the same thing I don't know what to do I just don't know what to do Just keep money hunting I guess People are complaining Saying it's hard to find love But love ain't complete happiness It's just a little part of I'm not gonna try to fool the public With pretending and fronting I've got bills that I need to pay So I'm going money hunting So I'm going money hunting This economy is not a joke Ain't nothing funny when you're broke I'm not pretending and fronting That's why I'm going money hunting I'm not putting love down Want it like every other man But if you've got love and want to keep it You better put some money in the plan There's a price on everything You get no dividends for fronting I'll take some love if it comes But I'm going money hunting But I'm going money hunting The law of money is the root of all evil The good book says it no doubt This economy is no joke Just to be with it than be without You can make your mouth say you love me But it don't have to mean a thing The cold cash is pudding proof So put some currency in my hand I can't use no spare change This not a joke Money is the name of this game God bless the child that's got his own I'm not trying to be funny That's why I'm going money hunting That's why I'm going money hunting Money hunting, that's what I'm gonna do Money hunting, gotta get some money for me and you
